ALAN D MILLER, Director

Alan's passion for theatre and live performance is always evident in the types of projects he writes, directs or produces. Previous projects have include EROICA!, a film charting the relationship between a composer and the internationally acclaimed Eroica Trio (Director, Co-Producer); New York segment of the trailer for Global Cool: The Movie, starring Sienna Miller, Tony Blair, Heather Graham and Amitabh Bachchan, that subsequently went out world wide and is current directing projects include, The Magic Tent a documentary about the creation of the children's television show. His theatrical credits include, Circ de Celine (London), Measure for Measure (London) and Justified Sinners, a one-person show that was nominated for a 'Fringe First' at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Alan writes regularly covering culture and current affairs both in Europe and New York. He is a published author, his first novel was Seven Days in a Decade with Tuesday Morning Publishing

LIZA LENTINI, Playwright

Liza Lentini has been a Playwriting Fellow with the Playwrights Theater of New York (1998) and received a commission from the Alliance of Downtown New York (1998). She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, such as The Pinter Review Prize for Drama, Trusts Playwrights' Festival, Playwrights First and the Lillian Hellman Prize for Drama. In 2007, Liza was chosen as Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Playwright in Residence. A rising voice in contemporary theatre, her quirky and startling work as been well received in the U.S. and Europe.

SABINE SINGH, Euthanasist

Born in New York, Sabine Singh grew up in an environment seeped in acting, dance and theatre as well as a latitude of cultural diversity. With a father born and raised in India, and a mother born in Austria, Sabine naturally took to the love of language, biracial ancestry and a creative passion to explore communication through the arts, most specifically theatre. Before graduating from NYU's Tisch School of Arts, Sabine attended The University of Michigan, as well as The British American Drama Academy in London. Further studies brought her to the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford Upon Avon, England, under the tutelage of Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, Rosemary Harris, and Fiona Shaw. To further her education Sabine also studied Shakespeare at the prestigious Balliol College at the University of Oxford.
At NYU, Sabine collaborated with the celebrated playwright, Mac Wellman, which led to her becoming an original founding company member of Jim Simpson's and Mac Wellman's award winning The Flea Theater in NYC. Sabine was one of the first "The Bats", the Obie Award winning resident acting troupe of The Flea, primarily presenting new and experimental American voices of the downtown NY theatre world.
Before garnering roles in several made-for-television movies, Sabine made a name for herself through her notable guest appearances on several critically acclaimed shows including "Law and Order," "The Sopranos," "Charmed" "Las Vegas" "CSI" and "Dawson's Creek." Steven Colbert and Paul Dinello specifically created the role, Yasmine Sarong, for Sabine in their cult favorite "Strangers With Candy". Most recently, Sabine joined the cast of "All My Children", playing the love-to-hate character Greenlee Smythe, earning her a place on the shortlist for the daytime Emmy Award.
Sabine's favorite film work includes "Maryam", a movie invited to open the first annual Tribeca Film Festival where Sabine was honored to be a guest speaker, refectling on "Maryam"'s similar themes and cultural significance with the events of September 11th, 2001. Sabine also had a starring role in the 2002 independent short comedy "The Fine Line Between Cute and Creepy," which received critical acclaim at film festivals across the nation. She appears along side Samuel Jackson, Blythe Danner, Tony Goldwyn, Emily Watson, Kate Burton, Clare Danes and other well respected stars of stage and screen in the Cicely Berry directed documentary "Speak The Speech", an intensive study of the British vs. American approach to tackling Shakespeare.
Sabine currently resides in New York City.

AUDRA ROBERTSON, Stage Manager

Audra is happy to be working on The Euthanasist and with this group of artists. As an Equity Stage Manager her favorite credits include The Piano Lesson and Cuttin' Up at Arena Stage in Washington DC and Father Joy, Rounding Third, Jazzland, and Augusta at The Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) in Shepherdstown, WV. Other credits include work at Indiana Repertory Theatre, Monomoy Theatre, Studio Theatre (Washington DC), The Kennedy Center, Cherry Lane Theatre and The NY Fringe Festival. Audra is currently the production coordinator for Industrial Theater Inc.

ADAM DUGAS, Set Designer

Adam is primarily a performer and creator of original music-based theatrical shows. Chaos & Candy, a non-traditional holiday spectacular saw its sixth annual production in 2007 at The Box. Other recent shows include Dueling Harps, a collaboration with Ann Magnuson; Vernal Hoodoo; and Lady Lady Lady. In 2004, Adam co-founded The Citizens Band, and was a featured performer, composer, writer, producer and director for the project through 2006. Adam is recording an album of duets with harpist Mia Theodoratus, with whom he regularly performs.

DIANA KESSELSCHMIDT, Lighting Designer

Diana has Designed Memento Mori (Naelberg Theatre), FORGED (Abrons Art Center), SEVEN (59 East 59th St., Theater A), LIGHTENING THE DARK (Linhart Theater), AN EVENING WITH CHAMPIONS (Bright Hockey Center, Harvard), ...And the Devil Knows Why (NY Town Hall Theatre), KISS AND CRY (Theater Ten Ten), BLUE STATES (Actor's Theatre Workshop),CLARA'S CHRISTMAS DREAMS (Theatre at St. Clement's,), CAGED VISIONS (HB Theater), A CHICKEN AND IT'S BREAST (Access Theater), Cortland Rep's '06 Summer. Season, over thirty shows for the John Drew Theatre (East Hampton) including: IN PERSONS w/ Anne Jackson & Eli Wallach, DON JUAN IN HELL and WELL, HELLO JERRY (HERMAN)!, DON PASQUALE (Main Stage, BU Theatre, Opera Institute), MONTICEL' (Boston Playwrights Theatre). She has also designed THE LEPERS OF BAILE BAISTE (The Terrace Theatre, Kennedy Center and Boston Playwrights Theatre ). She assisted on Tosca (English National Opera), Bad Dates (Huntington Theater), Blues Clues Live 2 national tour, Night of Fusion (Lincoln Center), Esmeralda and From Rock to Romance (JNPAC), Orson's Shadow (Barrow St.), Dread Awakenings (The 45th Street Theatre). She has an MFA from BU.

CURTIS REIK, Assistant Lighting Designer

Curtis is a Junior at Boston University studying lighting design under Mark Stanley. He will be graduating in 2010 and is excited to be working on his first NYC production. Credits include Master Electrician: Fall Fringe '07 (Studio 210 @ BU) and Assistant Lighting Designer: Two Sister and A Piano (Nilo Cruz, Studio 104 @ BU). Previous employment includes The Huntington Theater Company and Ballet Deviare.

PAM KRAY, Video / Projections

Pam lives and works in New York City. She began making super-8 movies as a writing tool in the early 80's while living in Washington, DC. She now works in digital video, film and multi-media. Her finished works are technically diverse explorations of her life, via her own or others' bodies, landscapes and pursuits of happiness. She has exhibited extensively in the United States and throughout Europe, screening at such venues as Anthology Film Archives and Millennium Film Workshop in New York, Artists' Television Access and San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco, Maryland Institute College of Art (Baltimore), Eiszeit (Berlin), Lichtmess Kino (Hamburg), and many others.
